Without a Will in place, intestacy law dictates what happens to the Assets in the Will. The outcome is dependant on the situation – we can advise you what could happen if you don’t have a Will and you want to pass on Assets. A Will professionally put together will provide the legal document required to ensure that money, assets and possessions pass to family or friends of your choice.
NJ Legal Services offer a no obligation visit in the comfort of your own home at a time to suit you – discuss in confidence precisely what you would like to achieve. We will be able to help explain the procedures and give the advice based on your situation. Whilst you can still make all of the necessary decisions.
There is no additional charge for this home visit, all home visits are free. Previous clients have said that they find this more relaxed and convenient. Without the need to travel to city centre offices and commit to a certain time.

Applying for Probate
There are several document which you need to apply for Probate, and you will need to fill in some forms and send them to the Probate Registry. This can be difficult on your own, or if you are grieving a loved one.
We can take care of all the paperwork for you and make sure that the process runs as smoothly as possible. For more information, see our Probate page.
